This week on comments 4kids we commented on students in middle school at Bluford Elementary School. They are located in Philadelphia and their school is named after its famous attendee, Guion Bluford, the first African American astronaut to travel in space. I didn't know this and thought that was pretty cool. The students went on a field trip to a art museum name Arthur Ross Gallery. They viewed an exhibit of paintings of West Philadelphia in the 1860’s, by an artist name David Kennedy. My student's name was Jeromaine and he reflected on his visit to the museum. He picked a painting that was 3D because he said it makes him feel as if he is right there in the painting.Click HereTo take a look at their blog
