New Media Skills: NML Staff

In today's world people will need all of these skills to fully engage with today's participatory culture. The new media literacies are something that people have to learn in order to function in our society. I think they are skills you need to be a effective worker, but I don't know about artist or citizen. Maybe I need to look at these two a little different. Over the years I have learned how to multitask and pretty good at judgement. These two skills have helped when I work for other people. Most jobs require you to multitask at work, it makes you more productive. Skills that I wish to acquire as I get older are negotiation and play. When watching the video play seemed to be a weakness of mind, hopefully as I get to learn more and experiment with new media I can become comfortable with it.
